We are a small operation with a core
breeding herd comprised of 6 registered Highland cattle (one prized herd sire; two
dams; two bred heifers; one heifer). Then there is one shorthorn cow that
is
also bred to our Highland bull.
I will attempt to keep pictures and
linage of all our available cattle on this site ... just follow the
links below to the herd and sales pages.

Something of Interest
The progeny of the shorthorn cow and
Highland bull looks to be an excellent beef market prospect. He's only 3
months old and already as large as the 5 month old Highland bull calves.
That's L'il Abner in the center. Our shorthorn should be throwing her next
calf in May, 2002. We will report on it fully should the
next offspring look as good.
I've provided a (very) few pictures of our place here
in Iredell, Texas -- deep in the heart of heaven. Click on them if you
want to see an enlarged version.

Fall is a time of beauty...

August 2000 was a pretty dry time...
Highland cattle can take the heat (and humidity!)...
