D'ANN'S FAMILY & FRIENDS

.

Family & friends of the Bride

The Bride's maternal grandparents were married at Blue Ridge Baptist Church on 15 December 1929 -- 69 years and 4 days prior to this wedding. The lady on the left of the first visible pew (adjusting her scarf) was the ring bearer for that wedding. She is one of only 3 first cousins of the bride's mother. Seated to her left is one of the Bride's high school English teachers. The next lady is our family's hair dresser. A long-time friend from church is on the right end of that pew.

On the left end of the next pew back is my mother's sister just younger than she. Next to her is the Bride's high school Home Economics teacher. Her husband, sitting with her, was the Elementary/Junior High School Principal when the Bride was in school.

The lady at the far left is a cousin of the Bride's mother. They had met on the Internet, but had never met in person until the evening of the wedding.

The silver haired lady at the right forefront (only about 1/2 of her head is visible) is the paternal grandmother of the Bride.
