WAR

This is a poem about war
A subject I surely adore
It has to be ten lines long
Perhaps I should write about the Vietcong
His poem goes out to Mrs. Jones
Her voice will surely rattle your bones
What does this have to do with war?
Don’t you know Mrs. Jones can fight?
She will fill you full of fright
War is like My teacher Jones
Her drums sending soothing tones
Theme: war is like Mrs. Jones
Imagery: Her voice will rattle your bones.
