was born 02 February, 1890, in Texas. Jesse married (1) Cora
Addie Lee SULLIVAN, (daughter of James Andrew SULLIVAN and Lula
Findosa BLACKMON). Cora was born 6 July, 1892, Cippella, TX, and
died 26 April, 1967, in Trinidad, CO. Cora was buried 29 April,
1967, in Oddfellows Cemetery, Trinidad, CO.
Jesse was married briefly to (2) a Ora SULLIVAN,
(daughter of James Andrew SULLIVAN and Lula Findosa BLACKMON).
Jesse died 10 Aug 1971, Albuquerque, Bernallo
County, NM. He was buried 12 August, 1971, Oddfellows
Cemetery, Trinidad, CO. Jesse was a rural mail carrier in Trinidad,
Las Animas County, CO. Following the death of Addie, Jesse
moved to Albuquerque, NM, and resided with his son Wilber in a
guest house that was built for him. Jesse collected stamps and had
literally each one issued since early 1900's through several years prior
to his death. Jesse was out for a morning walk and was struck by a
car. He never recovered from the accident and was moved from the hospital
to a nursing home where he died several months later.
