21. George Washington GRISHAM (4.Andrew2, 1.George1 married Amanda PATTERSON on 11 November, 1883, in Tippah County , MS, (Bk 4:p. 140 G). Amanda PATTERSON was born in 1864 and died in 1936.  Both Amanda and George were buried in the  Lebanon Cemetery, in Prentiss County , MS.

In 1870 the orphaned George (age 14) lived with his older brother, Ephraim, in Booneville, Prentiss County , MS.  George lived around Wheeler, Baldwyn, and Blackland, MS. He was enumerated  in Tippah County , MS in the 1900 Census.

Amanda was a younger sister of Elizabeth "Betty" Patterson who married Ephraim Grisham, an older brother of George Washington.

58. i James Arthur "Jim" GRISHAM born 1885.

59. ii Pearlie GRISHAM born 16 April, 1887.

60. iii Boyd GRISHAM born 1893/91.

61. iv Marshall "Mark" GRISHAM born 19 January, 1895.

     v Ada "Bessie" GRISHAM born __ August, 1897, married Arthur HALL. Bessie had two children. She and her family moved to Itawamba County in the 1930's, and she died there sometime later.

62. vi Richard Roy GRISHAM born 31 March, 1900.

63. vii John F. GRISHAM born 1902.

64. viii Gillie GRISHAM.
