49. Jesse Andrew "Jessie" GRISHAM (18.James³, 4.Andrew², 1.George¹) was born 20 February, 1883, Evant, Coryell County, TX.  In early years Jessie was a member of a Baptist church, but later became a Methodist.

Jessie was a  dairy  and  poultry farmer.  Jessie was  married to Sarah Bertie SPARKS on 22 July, 1906, in Hamilton County, TX,  by B. F. White, a Baptist preacher.

Sarah Bertie SPARKS (daughter of William Thomas SPARKS and Annie I. BRITWELL/BURTON) was born 17 November, 1888,  in Russellville, Franklin County, AL.  Bertie  was a Methodist.  Bertie died 2 December, 1975, Hico, Hamilton County, TX, and was buried 4 December, 1975, in the IOOF Cemetery Hamilton, Hamilton County, TX.

Jesse died 17 March, 1940, Blue Ridge, Hamilton County, TX, and was buried 19 March, 1940, in the IOOF Cemetery, Hamilton, Hamilton County, TX,  Jessie was paralyzed by a stroke two weeks before his death. 

Children:

i Truman White GRISHAM  was born 4 October, 1911, Blue Ridge, Hamilton County, TX.  Truman was the manager of a telephone company.  Truman married Lillian Olive GRIMM, who was born 21 July, 1910,  in McLennan County, TX.  Lillian was a daughter of James Albert/Alvin/Allen GRIMM and Patience Lillian HORNE.  Lillian was a  Baptist and a  secretary.  She died 16 August, 1989, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX, and was buried 19 August, 1989, in the IOOF Cemetery Hamilton, Hamilton County, TX. 

Truman died 3 August, 1975, Gatesville, Coryell County, TX.  He was buried 5 August, 1975, in the  IOOF Cemetery Hamilton, Hamilton County, TX. Truman was an ordained Baptist minister. He attended Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, TX.
