was born in 1869, in AR. In Texas he married Jesse
Naomi KINNINGHAM, who was born in 1874 and died in 1942. Thomas
died in Cross Plains, Callahan County, TX. Tom left Arkansas
as a young man to go to Texas to visit his uncles--Dick, Jack, and Jim.
He married and stayed in Texas 4 yrs before returning to Arkansas
with a year-old-daughter and a son. Tom and his brother Lawrence
built a new house together and both families lived there. Tom
remained in Arkansas for three years before moving to Fannin County,
TX, where he and his family lived 3 years, before moving to Cross Plains,
TX where he remained the rest of his life. He was a Methodist song leader.

ii Jewell MITCHELL , born 1897,
married Mr. CONLEE. Jewell was still alive and in a nursing
home in Rising Star in 1996. She had lived in Cross Plains.
