Church of God Faith of Abraham

Introduction

The Church of God, Faith of Abraham is located in Gatesville, Texas, a small community in Central Texas. The Church had its beginning in Coryell County before 1900. Our current Church building was dedicated on August 19, 1951 by its pastor, Emory Macy.

The Church is a member of the Texas Conference of Churches of God and of the Church of God General Conference, headquartered in Morrow, Georgia. We are also affiliated with the Atlanta Bible College in Morrow, Ga. which opened in 1991 after relocation from Oregon, Illinois. The college has been in existance for over 75 years.

We come together for the purpose of mutual aid in christian growth and service, Bible study and comprehension, and for the more effectual preaching of the gospel "to every creature" within the radius of our influence. We endeavor to share the good news of the second coming of Jesus and the establishment of God's Kingdom upon the earth.
