The United Methodist Women
will soon be collecting items to send to our church family and friends
serving overseas in the military. If you would like to help, please choose
from the following list and leave your items in the fellowship hall. Soap/Washcloths,
Personal Wipes, Hand Sanitizers, Deodorant, Tooth-paste/Toothbrush, Chap
Stick, Dryer Sheets, Small packs of Tissue, Note pad/Stationery, Word
search/Other Puzzle Books, Pencils/Pens Food: Microwavable single serve
(Chili, Chef Boyardee, etc. Nothing frozen), Crackers, Cookies, Candy
– no chocolate or anything that will melt, Snacks – peanuts, snack bars,
chips, etc., Presweetened powder drinks (Kool Aid, tea, etc.) In
addition to the boxes we are preparing to mail overseas, we will send cards
to those serving here in the United States. This year we want to include
personal notes from you. Please leave your notes in the fellow-ship hall, and
we will make sure they are mailed. If you know any changes in addresses since
January, please contact the church office or Jean Bloodworth. We
currently have addresses for: Paul Bryan, Chilo Carlson, Clark Denman,
Michael Fulton, Matthew Kopechy, William Leonhart , Jeremy Mullins, Paul
Preston, Ross Rogers, Nathan Shaffer, John Slough, Cole Wells , Paul Wells,
and Bart Wilbanks We
are looking for information and addresses for the following: Teddy Fox, Aaron
Heizer, Paul Nelson, Clay Reed, Austin Walker, and Beth Walker. Thank
