NEW LIFE FOR THE NEW LIFE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

The NEW LIFE class has not been meeting through the summer, but we are coming back to life this week. We will be meeting Sunday morning at our usual time and place, the back of the Sanctuary at 9:45. This is a lecture class that follows the traditional Adult Bible Studies of the Cokesbury series. Donna Anglin is the teacher and we finish by around 10:20, so you can visit and get a cup of coffee before church. Our star student, Thelma Peeples, will be here this week for a visit and we hope to have a good group to make her feel at home. All visitors are welcome. Please feel free to drop in any time.

  2008 VBS

There’s a Beach Party coming to Hamilton June 23-27. Get ready to feel the surf and catch the wave of God’s love.

This years theme for our Vacation Bible School is Beach Party “Surfin’ Through the Scriptures”. It will bring the children into a closer relationship with God, allow them to experience the love of Jesus as their friend and Savior, and inspire them to share their beliefs with others.

VBS Coordinator, Nancy Henkes, is asking for more volunteers to adequately present the different activities. Therefore we will have another VBS Interest Meeting on April 27th at 4:00 pm in the Fellowship hall for those who can volunteer.

Please be in prayer for this year VBS, and see what God would lead you to do in spreading the love of Christ to our children.
