NEW LIFE FOR THE NEW LIFE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS The NEW LIFE class has not been meeting through the
summer, but we are coming back to life this week. We will be meeting Sunday
morning at our usual time and place, the back of the Sanctuary at 9:45. This
is a lecture class that follows the traditional Adult Bible Studies of the Cokesbury series. Donna Anglin is the teacher and we
finish by around 10:20, so you can visit and get a cup of coffee before
church. Our star student, Thelma Peeples, will be
here this week for a visit and we hope to have a good group to make her feel
at home. All visitors are welcome. Please feel free to drop in any time. Confirmation Classes Twice weekly Sundays 9:30-10:30
a.m. Wednesdays 5:30-6:30
p.m. Classes will end with a
Ceremony during youth led service on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2008. Classes led by Carol Cowart & Nancy Henkes
There’s a Beach
Party coming to This years theme for our VBS Coordinator, Nancy
Henkes, is asking for more volunteers to adequately
present the different activities. Therefore we will have another VBS Interest
Meeting on April
27th at 4:00 pm in the Fellowship hall for those who can volunteer. Please be in prayer
for this year VBS, and see what God would lead you to do in spreading the
love of Christ to our children. “Nothing But Nets” CAR WASH & BAKE SALE on
April 26th located in the Church parking lot from 9am to 12
pm. Confirmation class will be holding
a car wash and bake sale to collect funds for their UMCOR mission project
“Nothing But Net”. Car
wash is by donation. You are invited to browse the Bake Sale while your car
is being washed. Morris Walker Award
