Our congregation lies in the small, artistic
community of
Clifton
,
Texas
.
Clifton
is located is the central
Texas
hills of
Bosque
County
and maintains a population of 3,500 – 4,000
people. We are a medium-sized congregation
which averages about 100 members per Sunday. Although
we are eager to choose a new minister, we are
not in such a rush that we will compromise our
choice. We are a progressive congregation
and have recently hired a new youth minister who
is active in our community.

We look forward to working with someone who
will appeal to our community and broaden
our “out-reach” programs. We have been
moderately successful in small group
ministries and have attracted several non
members into our groups. Our last
minister was here for six years and left
to attend medical school, not for another
congregation. The minister before
that was here for twelve years. We
have three active elders and three deacons
who head committees that work together for
the good of the church. We want to work
and need someone who is willing and able
to work with us. Candidates
