 Butch Kettler, Elder

Family
Born in Clifton, Texas, one of eight children.  Wife, Georgeanne, of over 40 years, teaches for the Clifton Independent School District. One son, Jack, is also a teacher, for the Whitney Independent School District.  Daughter-in-law Renée, works for a CPA in Clifton. Two grandsons, 
Hutch and Jackson.

Career
Butch was a Medical Technologist at Goodall-Witcher Hospital since 1972. He retired in 2005.

Special Interests
Hunting, fishing, spending time with grandsons.  Enjoy reading books, watching movies, and visiting museums about Texas History and the Civil War.

Education
Graduate of Clifton High School (1961).  Attended the University of Houston and Baylor.  Graduate of Hillcrest Baptist Hospital School of Medical Technology.  Spent five years in the Army Reserve.

How long have you been at the Clifton Church of Christ?
I have been a member of the Clifton Church of Christ for over 35 years.

What do you like most about the Clifton Church of Christ?
The spiritual atmosphere it promotes for me and my family.  The time I spend with the members, and serving with the ministers and other elders and deacons.

What is your dream for the Clifton Church of Christ?
For the church to truly share Jesus Christ with not just the people of this community but of the world.  For the church to be of one mind and heart as we grow in the likeness of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
